Clarence Penn

Clarence Penn ranks high among drummers who are versatile and savvy enough to play any style of music. Having played in a semi-professional capacity since the age of 15, Penn has toured, performed and recorded with a veritable who's who of musical stars, including Betty Carter, Ellis Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Jacky Terrasson, Roberta Flack, Dizzy Gilespie, Dianne Reeves, Cyrus Chestnut, Stephen Scott, Steps Ahead, Mike Stern and Rachel Z. He is probably one of the most sought after drummers of his generation on the scene.

Daniel Sadownick — Drums

Daniel Sadownick

Bronx native Daniel Sadownick earned a Master's Degree in Musical Education at New York University, where he also studied composition. He then went on to study privately with percussion masters Andrew Cyrille, John Amira and the late, great Frankie Malabe. After graduating, Mr. Sadownick toured with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra for two years.  A versatile percussionist that does not limit himself to one genre, Daniel has spent the last few years touring and recording with such diverse artists as: Steely Dan, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Idol, Tony, Toni Tone', Maxwell, and many others!!

Jason Marshall — Saxophone

Jason Marshall

Jason Marshall's 2003 arrival in New York City signified the continuation of hard swinging, forward thinking baritone saxophone playing.  With early encouragement to appreciate all types of music, Jason has developed a style that encompasses with whole of African-American music.  A special interest is given to the amalgamation of soul, R and B, and funk with straight-ahead jazz.  Years of dedication and perseverance have resulted in a giant, soulful sound and instantly appealing concept. Influences such as Leo Parker, Nick Brignola and Bruce Johnstone have coalesced to ensure an open perception of the baritone sax and a “take -no-prisoners” approach to playing jazz music.

Rob Duguay — Bass

Rob Duguay

Rob Duguay is a promising young bass player well-versed in many styles of music.  A budding musician on the New York scene, Rob has also performed in such places as Montreal, Quebec; New Orleans; Washington D.C.; Portland, Oregon; Philadelphia; Paris, France; and Montreux, Switzerland and more.  Since his arrival in New York four years ago, Rob has had the opportunity to share the stage with such greats as Harold Mabern, George Coleman, Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, Roy Hargrove, Donny McCaslin, Abraham Burton, and more.  Look forward to hearing a lot more from Rob Duguay soon.
